1. Prepare the Setup

Take an analytical balance.

Use distilled water and a clean container.

Record the room temperature.
2. Test the Volume

Set the micropipette to the desired volume (example: 100 µL).

Pipette distilled water and dispense it into the container.

The weight should match the expected value (1 µL ≈ 1 mg of water).
3. Repeat the Process

Do this at least 10 times for accurate results.

Test the minimum, middle, and maximum volumes.
4. Adjust if Needed

If the readings are not accurate, use the calibration screw to adjust.
